The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Film Disc Roll 255L is a 5" diameter roll containing 125 discs made of aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a flexible film backing with a P400 grit. Designed for fast cut-rate and uniform, close-tolerance finishes on wood, paint preparation, and defect repair, the discs are constructed from durable aluminum oxide suitable for most wood species. The open coat abrasive provides a more aggressive cut compared to a closed coat of the same grade, and a special loading resistant coating helps prevent clogging during use. The flexible film backing offers consistent finishes and greater tear-resistance than comparable paper products, making it ideal for high-production environments. Applications include AOEM finish prep and repair, finishing, orbital sanding, paint and lacquer sanding, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, and primary wood and panel processing.
