The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Paper Disc Roll 216U consists of 125 aluminum oxide discs per roll, each measuring 5 inches in diameter with a P100 grit size. These open coat discs feature long-lasting aluminum oxide abrasive grains on a lightweight A-weight paper backing, designed for use with a random orbital sander. The discs include a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for quick attachment to a Stikit backup pad (sold separately) and allow for easy removal without leaving residue. The load-resistant coating and open coat construction prevent clogging and loading, extending the service life and providing a more aggressive cut than closed coat abrasives of the same grade. This abrasive disc roll is suitable for general sanding and finishing applications on substrates such as paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, and composites including fiberglass. It is intended for automotive OEM finish preparation, defect repair, and leveling tasks. The discs comply with industry standards for abrasive sanding and are specifically engineered to work with Stikit backup pads on random orbital sanders.
