The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Paper Disc Roll 216U features 125 discs per roll, each measuring 5 inches in diameter with a NH (non-hole) configuration, made from aluminum oxide abrasive grains graded P100. This disc roll is designed for use with random orbital sanders and includes open coat aluminum oxide discs with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for quick attachment to Stikit backup pads (sold separately), eliminating the need for disc liners. The discs have a lightweight A-weight paper backing suitable for sanding and finishing on various substrates such as paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, and composites including fiberglass. The open coat and load-resistant coating prevent loading by wood or paint dust, extending service life and ensuring a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grade. These discs are ideal for general sanding and finishing applications in industries including AOEM and marine, supporting finish preparation, defect repair, leveling, and orbital sanding tasks. The discs attach securely and remove cleanly from the backup pad without contaminating the surface, ensuring readiness for the next disc.
