The 3M™ Stikit™ paper D/F disc roll 236U includes 100 discs per roll, each measuring 6 inches in diameter with a NH (non-hole) configuration and featuring aluminum oxide abrasive at P400 grit. The disc roll provides a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing designed for quick, easy attachment and removal on a 3M™ Stikit™ backup pad (sold separately), eliminating the need for disc liners. The disc construction includes a strong C-weight paper backing that resists wear during aggressive sanding, combined with an open-coat construction and a load-resistant coating to prevent clogging and maximize abrasive life and cut rate. The aluminum oxide abrasive offers fast cut-rate, long life, and self-fracturing properties to maintain sharp cutting edges and is suitable for sanding and finishing a variety of surfaces including paint, primer, softwood, metal, plastic, composites, and fiberglass. These discs are designed for use with a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander when paired with an appropriate Stikit™ backup pad. The product complies with industry standards for coated abrasives and is engineered for both woodworking and metalworking applications, including use on ferrous alloys.
