The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Paper Disc Roll 216U features 6" diameter discs with NH (non-hole) configuration, constructed of open coat aluminum oxide abrasive grains on a lightweight paper backing, with a P240 grit grade. Each roll contains 175 discs designed for use with a random orbital sander and a Stikit backup pad (sold separately). The discs include a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for quick attachment and clean removal from the backup pad, helping to eliminate disc liners and contamination between uses. The open coat design and load-resistant coating prevent clogging from wood or paint dust, extending disc life and providing a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grit. The discs are suitable for general sanding and finishing applications on substrates such as paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, and composites including fiberglass. Typical applications include AOEM finish preparation, repair, and defect leveling. The product is intended for professional automotive aftermarket manufacturing use and comes with relevant industry certifications and compliance for these applications.
