The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold paper disc roll 216U features 175 discs per roll, each measuring 5" with NH aluminum oxide abrasive at P240 grit. Designed for use with a random orbital sander, these discs combine long-lasting aluminum oxide abrasive grains with a lightweight paper backing suitable for general sanding and finishing on surfaces such as paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, composites, and fiberglass. The open coat design with a load-resistant coating prevents clogging and extends the service life, providing a more aggressive cut than closed coat abrasives of the same grit. Each disc has a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for quick attachment and clean removal from a Stikit backup pad (sold separately). The discs are intended for applications including AOEM finish preparation, defect repair, leveling, and orbital sanding in industries such as AOEM and marine. The roll setup eliminates the need for disc liners, enhancing convenience and efficiency.
