The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Paper Disc Roll 216U features 5-inch diameter discs made with aluminum oxide abrasive grains in a P320 grit size, with 175 discs per roll. These open coat discs are mounted on a lightweight paper backing and include a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the backside for easy attachment to a Stikit backup pad (sold separately), designed for use with a random orbital sander. The open coat, load-resistant construction helps prevent loading by allowing dust and debris to collect in the spaces between abrasive grains, extending disc life and improving sanding performance on substrates such as paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, and composites including fiberglass. The discs are suitable for general sanding, finishing applications, AOEM finish prep/repair, defect repair/leveling, and orbital sanding in industries including AOEM and marine. The product provides a convenient disc delivery system without the need for disc liners, and the adhesive backing ensures clean removal to maintain an uncontaminated surface for subsequent discs. Dimensions are 5 inches in diameter, utilizing aluminum oxide abrasive with a P320 micron scale grit specification.
