The 3M™ Trisect™ Finesse-It™ Film Disc Roll 466LA measures 3 inches in diameter with NH type attachment and features silicon carbide abrasive graded A7, consisting of 500 individual discs per roll. It utilizes proprietary 3M micro replication technology where micron-graded silicon carbide particles are formed into tiny abrasive pyramids coated on a non-compressible polyester backing, ensuring consistent cutting and a predictable fine finish as pyramids wear down exposing fresh sharp mineral. The roll is available in three grades—A3, A5, and A7—to accommodate various topcoats and finishing requirements. Each film-backed disc attaches quickly to rotary tools or orbital sanders for efficient use. The abrasive discs maintain sharpness longer than conventional abrasives, potentially lasting up to five times longer, which allows for reduced grade sequences, fewer process steps, and consistent quality finishes. The three-dimensional abrasive structures are uniformly distributed across the disc surface to eliminate variation between discs and ensure consistent performance. This product is suitable for AOEM finish preparation and repair, defect repair, and leveling in industries including AOEM, general industrial, and paint preparation.
