The 3M™ Trisect™ Finesse-IT™ Film Disc 464LA measures 1 3/8" in diameter with NH (nut and hole) attachment and features silicon carbide mineral in A3 grit, supplied as 500 discs per roll. It incorporates a revolutionary surface topography with a microreplicated three-dimensional system of channels that effectively channel sanding debris away from the disc, reducing loading and extending the disc life up to five times longer than conventional abrasives. This design ensures fresh mineral exposure for a faster cut and more consistent, predictable finishes with precise finish control and minimal disc-to-disc variation. The film disc is suitable for finishing, defect repair, leveling, and plastic defect removal on paint and clear coats, requiring very little water, which enhances the efficiency of the process while achieving a high gloss level.
