The 3M™ Trisect™ Finesse-IT™ Film Disc Roll 466LA features 2" diameter discs made with micron-graded silicon carbide A5 abrasive particles formed into tiny pyramids on a non-compressible polyester backing using proprietary 3M micro replication technology. This 500-disc roll provides consistent cut and a predictable fine finish as fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed during use. Available in grades A3, A5, and A7 to accommodate various topcoats and finishing processes, each film-backed disc is designed for quick attachment to rotary tools or orbital sanders. The discs maintain sharpness longer than conventional abrasives, lasting up to five times longer, which allows for fewer grade changes and streamlined abrasive sequences. The three-dimensional abrasive structures ensure uniform performance and minimal disc-to-disc variation. This product is suitable for AOEM finish preparation, repair, and defect leveling in AOEM, general industrial, and paint preparation industries.
