The 3M™ Stikit™ paper disc roll 210U includes 250 discs per roll, each measuring 5 inches in diameter and made with a NH aluminum oxide abrasive rated P220 grit. These discs feature an open coat aluminum oxide abrasive on a light a-weight paper backing, suitable for lightweight sanding and finishing on substrates such as paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, and composites including fiberglass. The discs come with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for quick and easy attachment to a backup pad, recommended to be used with a 3M™ Stikit™ disc pad (sold separately) attached to a random orbital sander. The open coat design reduces loading by spacing abrasive grains to allow dust and debris to collect in the spaces rather than clogging the abrasive points, providing a more aggressive cut and longer service life compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grade. These discs are intended for applications including AOEM finish prep and repair, finishing, orbital sanding, and polishing in industries such as metal fabrication. The product is designed to press on securely and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc.
