The 3M™ Stikit™ cloth disc roll 341D measures 6 inches in diameter and features aluminum oxide 60 grit with 100 discs per roll. These adhesive-backed aluminum oxide discs are designed for heavy stock removal on wood, metal, composites, and solid surface materials, requiring a heavy cloth backing for rough operations. The discs incorporate a heavy X-weight cloth backing with a resin bond that prolongs disc life under high heat and pressure, while the fast-cutting aluminum oxide grain delivers continuous fast-cut and long-life performance on various substrates. The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing allows for easy attachment and removal from 3M Stikit backup pads, facilitating quick grade changes without liners. Aluminum oxide is chosen for its toughness and self-fracturing ability, making it suitable for grinding and sanding in woodworking and metalworking applications, including ferrous alloys. The discs are intended to be used with 3M Stikit backup pads (sold separately) compatible with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders.
