The 3M™ Stikit™ paper disc roll 236U includes 100 discs per roll, each measuring 5" in diameter with a NH (7/8-11) hole, made with aluminum oxide abrasive of P400 grit. The discs feature a strong C-weight paper backing designed to resist wear during aggressive sanding. The open-coat construction combined with a load-resistant coating helps to prevent clogging and maximizes cutting efficiency and disc life. These discs are pressure-sensitive adhesive coated on the backside for quick and easy attachment to a 3M™ Stikit™ backup pad (sold separately), allowing for clean removal that leaves an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. Intended for use with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders, the discs are suitable for sanding and finishing on materials such as paint, primer, softwood, metal, plastic, hard and soft composites, and fiberglass. Aluminum oxide abrasive provides fast cut-rate, long life, and self-fracturing qualities that expose fresh cutting edges, making it suitable for a variety of woodworking and metalworking applications including those involving ferrous alloys. The product complies with applicable quality standards, and the 3M™ Stikit™ discs are designed for industrial use with a durable and efficient abrasive surface.
