The 3M™ Stikit™ paper disc roll 210U includes 250 discs per roll, each disc measuring 5 inches in diameter with NH (normal-hole) configuration, featuring aluminum oxide abrasive at P400 grit. These discs are constructed with open coat aluminum oxide abrasive on a lightweight paper backing, designed for general sanding and finishing on substrates such as paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, and composites including fiberglass. The discs feature a pressure-sensitive adhesive Stikit™ backing for quick and easy attachment and removal from a backup pad, which is recommended to be used with a 3M™ Stikit™ disc pad attached to a random orbital sander (pad sold separately). The open coat design reduces loading by spacing abrasive grains to allow dust and debris to collect in the gaps rather than clogging the surface, resulting in a longer service life and a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grade. Applications include AOEM finish preparation and repair, finishing, orbital sanding, and polishing in metal fabrication industries. The product is ready to use straight from the roll, with each disc providing effective abrasive performance and clean removal without contaminating the surface for subsequent discs.
