The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Radial Bristle Disc measures 9/16" x 1/16" and features a ceramic 120 grit, utilizing proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain and molded, flexible bristles for increased surface contact compared to traditional wire brushes, while maintaining abrasive strength throughout its lifespan. This fast-running disc effectively removes paint, stains, adhesives, weld burns, rust, and heavy oxides from extensive surfaces under normal usage conditions, where the flexible bristles securely remain in place, achieving desired finishes with light pressure. Designed for durability, it outperforms wire and other abrasive discs and is suitable for various metals including aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel, cast iron, and stainless steel, making it ideal for general industrial, aerospace, automotive, metalworking, and transportation applications. The ceramic aluminum oxide blend, created through a proprietary process, enhances the toughness and hardness of the grain, enabling higher performance and a superior cut-rate compared to standard aluminum oxide abrasives.
