Hercules® 15120 Megatape PTFE tape measures 1" x 1000" and is designed to seal threads on an extensive range of piping systems, including stainless steel pipe, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS pipe, and brass and chrome fittings, as well as gas connections. The tape's gray color enhances aesthetics, particularly since 80% of shower heads sold are chrome or nickel, while its thicker and denser composition allows it to perform better on harder, sharper low-lead and stainless steel threads. Each roll is a substantial 1000 inches long and is suitable for use on any threaded pipe carrying a variety of substances such as dilute acids, compressed air, aliphatic solvents, dilute caustics, cutting oils, diesel fuel oil, hydraulic fluids, L.P. gas, natural gas, petroleum solvents, steam, vegetable oils, water, and more. The product complies with industry standards for durability and compatibility.
