The Federal Signal MicroStat® is a compact, Type 4X status indicator, Type 1 with an optional sounder, suitable for OEM applications. The MicroStat comes pre-assembled in configurations of 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-high light units, with user-selectable combinations available in five colors: amber, blue, clear, green, and red. O-rings between each segment ensure a water-tight and dust-tight seal. The MSL1, MSL2, and MSL3 models operate at 24VAC/DC, 120VAC, and 240VAC, while the MSL4 and MSL5 models are offered in 24VAC/DC and 120VAC options. The base can be surface or pipe mounted with a 3/4-inch NPT connection. The lenses are designed to lock together and can be easily twisted apart for quick lamp changes and lens resequencing. Each lens is illuminated by a rugged, vibration-resistant, thick-filament wedge lamp for optimal light performance, with wire connections facilitated through a 2-piece terminal block. The MicroStat is compatible with PLC outputs, including TRIACs. An optional 100,000-hour LED light source is available in the same five colors, using surface-mounted LEDs that plug directly into the standard lamp socket. Additionally, an optional sound module can be installed in the top position of any MicroStat, consisting of a slotted grille and a board-mounted piezoelectric horn that connects directly to the wedge socket. A pipe mount base, pipes, and flashers are also available. The MicroStat is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
