The Federal Signal MicroStat® is a compact, Type 4X status indicator designed for OEM applications, available in configurations of 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-high light units. Users can select from five colors: amber, blue, clear, green, and red, with O-rings between each segment ensuring a waterproof and dust-tight seal. The MSL1, MSL2, and MSL3 models operate on 24VAC/DC, 120VAC, and 240VAC, while the MSL4 and MSL5 models are available in 24VAC/DC and 120VAC. The base allows for surface or pipe mounting (3/4-inch NPT), and the lenses can be easily twisted apart for lamp changes and resequencing. Each lens is illuminated by a rugged, vibration-resistant thick-filament wedge lamp for excellent optical performance, with wire connections made through a 2-piece terminal block. The MicroStat is compatible with PLC outputs, including TRIACs, and offers an optional 100,000-hour LED light source in the same five colors, which plugs directly into the standard lamp socket. Additionally, an optional sound module can be installed in the top position of any MicroStat, consisting of a slotted grille and board-mounted piezoelectric horn that plugs directly into the wedge socket. Other options include a pipe mount base, pipes, and flashers. The MicroStat is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
