The EM230I is a compact inflatable radar reflector designed for emergency use, folding down to a pocket-sized configuration for easy storage in grab bags. Constructed from DuPont metallized, lacquered, and spun bonded fabric with a PVC casing, it ensures enhanced visibility. This radar reflector exceeds the 10m² visibility requirement set by ISAF, ORC, and RORC and includes a certified QinetiQ linear diagram, mandatory for race compliance. The EM230IM adheres to WCC, ISAF, and RORC offshore rules, making it suitable for racers, dinghy applications, or life rafts. The unit can be mounted using halyards or an optional three-piece carbon rod kit. Its dimensions are as follows: Length: 750mm (29.5"), Weight: 413g (14.5oz), Overall diameter: 300mm (11.8"), and it has a maximum response of +/-3° with a 25.6m² mounting kit (EMA031FXKM sold separately).
