The EM230BR passive radar reflectors are a rigid radar reflector constructed from a robust polyethylene case, designed for deck or mast mounting as well as halyard suspension, and available in white. All Echomax passive reflectors utilize a patented stacked symmetrical array, which enhances the reflected radar surface area regardless of the vessel's pitch or roll, ensuring a consistent right angle corner return to the ship's radar. The arrays are produced under strict tolerance controls of +/- 10 degrees for optimal radar return performance, allowing the Echomax EM230BR to outperform other radar reflectors in real-world scenarios. This model is utilized by both the UK and US Navy and is certified with NSN#: 5840-99-742-6193. The EM230BR adheres to the standards set by ISO, RORC, ORC, ISAF, and WCC. It is recommended for vessels ranging from 9 to 15 meters (29.5 to 49.2 feet), as well as for lifeboats and rescue crafts, boasting a maximum radar response of 24 m2. The reflector's dimensions are a height of 605 mm (23.8 inches), width of 245 mm (9.6 inches), and a weight of 2.3 kg (5 lbs), with fixing centers at 545 mm (21.5 inches).
