The 18" octahedral array is integrated into a round inflatable radar reflector designed for easy deployment under extreme conditions. The Echomax A03I inflatable is specifically engineered for life raft deployment; it can be safely vacuum sealed into a life raft, unlike those made from rigid metal plates. The A03I consists of 28 components interconnected through 17 ultrasonic welding operations, all housed within a three-piece airtight 24" round PVC case, and can be inflated either orally or by pump. The National Stock Number (NSN) is 5985-99-380-7258 and the Department of Transportation (DOT) number is QQ-TAN-04/3-01. This reflector is suggested for use with life rafts. The weight of the unit is 599 grams (21 oz), packed dimensions are 230 x 305 mm (9 x 12"), and the diameter when inflated is 615 mm (24.2"). A carbon rod mounting kit is sold separately, with Part number EMA031FXKM.
