The Folding Tub Seat is designed for convenient seating over bathtubs during bathing, featuring a sturdy construction made from 1/2" thick solid phenolic that is both chemical and corrosion resistant. Its frame, mounting bracket, and retainer hook are constructed from Type 304 satin finished stainless steel, ensuring durability and strength. The seat measures 15" D and projects 33-3/4" from the wall. The fold-up design incorporates 1" Type 304 stainless steel tubing with a #4 satin finish, while the mounting and retainer brackets are made from 8 gauge stainless steel. To protect surfaces in contact with the tub, the design includes rubber grip pads, and a wall mounted retainer hook securely holds the seat in the storage position.
