The Folding Shower Seat is designed for use in large shower stalls and shower rooms, featuring an L-shaped fold-up design with a self-locking mechanism for secure positioning. Constructed with type 304 stainless steel framing, the seat frame and support legs utilize 1" diameter x 1-1/4" square x 18 gauge tubing, complemented by 3/16" thick mounting flanges and a 16 gauge guide bracket/arm support. All exposed surfaces are finished with a #4 satin finish, and the support arm folds up to provide a low profile against the wall when retracted. This product complies with ADA accessibility guidelines when properly installed. The padded shower seat incorporates a sponge cushion covered with off-white Naugahyde® and is mounted on 1/2" thick marine grade plywood, with a left-hand seat configuration.
