The folding shower seat is designed for use in large shower stalls and shower rooms and features an L-shaped fold-up design with a self-locking mechanism for secure positioning. Constructed from Type 304 stainless steel framing, the seat frame and support legs are made of 1" diameter x 1-1/4" square x 18 gauge tubing, with 3/16" thick mounting flanges and a 16 gauge guide bracket/arm support. All exposed surfaces are finished with a #4 satin finish. The support arm folds up when in the retracted position, providing a low profile against the wall. The padded shower seat includes a sponge cushion covered with off-white Naugahyde® mounted on 1/2" thick marine grade plywood, and it is designed as a right-hand seat. This product complies with ADA accessibility guidelines when properly installed.
