The unit heater is designed for horizontal or vertical mounting with a downflow option and offers a heating capacity of 10kW at 480V, 3Ph, equipped with a 24V transformer and contactor. This unit serves as an auxiliary, supplementary, or primary heat source in various settings such as factories, stores, garages, basements, warehouses, public buildings, service stations, stock-rooms, offices, and other large or exposed areas. Its versatile design allows for both horizontal and vertical mounting, with 360° positioning and adjustable louvers that provide enhanced control of the throw direction. The louvers are equipped with stops to prevent complete closure of the discharge area. The heating element features an aluminum-finned, copper-clad steel sheath that ensures a longer useful life due to cooler sheath temperatures and effective heat dissipation. An advanced pull-through air flow design promotes even air distribution and cooler operation of the heating element. The automatic control system delays fan operation until the heating element reaches a warm temperature, maintaining comfort by preventing the circulation of cold air and expelling excess heat. Additionally, the unit includes an automatic reset linear thermal cut-out capillary type for protection over the entire length of the element. A specially designed venturi outlet enhances vertical air throw. Constructed with heavy gauge die-formed steel housing, the unit is rugged yet lightweight for easier installation. It operates at 480 volts, 3 phase, with a current of 12 amps and includes a 24V control transformer and contactor. Mounting brackets are sold separately.
