This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is designed for use in dirty, dusty environments and is suitable for high altitude applications up to 13,000 ft. It features a sturdy 18 gauge steel cabinet with a durable powder-coated finish. The control compartment is equipped with a hinged and latched access door to facilitate easy wiring installation and maintenance. The heater includes a circular copper clad steel heating element with continuously brazed steel fins, precisely formed to match the air delivery pattern of the fan blade. The fan assembly is housed within a heavy gauge, closed space, protected by chrome plated wire guards. Louvers are adjustable individually to control air flow direction, while automatic reset type limit controls provide overheat protection. The unit features a totally enclosed, single phase permanently lubricated and thermally protected motor, mounted on rubber isolators to reduce vibration and noise, along with a sleeve bearing motor. Field-installed options for customization include a wall-ceiling bracket, SPST thermostat kit, and disconnect kit.
