This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is designed for use in dirty, dusty environments and for high altitude applications up to 13,000 feet. It is constructed with an 18 gauge steel cabinet featuring a powder coated finish. The control compartment is equipped with a hinged and latched access door, facilitating easy wiring installation and maintenance. The circular copper clad steel heating element is complemented by continuously brazed steel fins that are formed to match the air delivery pattern of the fan blade. The fan assembly is enclosed within a heavy gauge, closed space and is protected by chrome plated wire guards. Louvers are individually adjustable to control the direction of airflow, and the unit includes automatic reset type limit controls for overheat protection. A totally enclosed, single phase, permanently lubricated, and thermally protected motor is mounted on rubber insulators to minimize vibration and noise, featuring a unit bearing motor. Field-installed options comprise a wall-ceiling bracket, SPST thermostat kit, and disconnect kit.
