Springer Controls-Merz switches come in models ranging from 16 amp to 125 amp, suitable for both residential and industrial applications. This particular item is a 4-screw, front-panel mounting cam switch, with screws included for mounting the switch and handle to the panel or wall. The cam switches feature switching chambers with 1, 2, or 3 double interrupted conduct paths (Series 111 only), each consisting of 2 firmly seated terminals and one mobile contact bridge guided by a plunger. The contact bridge is positively operated by a cam and retracted by a spring. The indexing device has various torque options and 4 different switching angles, while the finger-proof design includes screws with captive plus-minus heads. All terminals feature screwdriver guiding, funnel-shaped cable entries, and a chamber-like structure, with cable end stops ensuring proper insertion depth. Complete enclosed units and additional switch types are available upon special request.
