Springer Controls-Merz switches range from 16 Amp to 125 Amp and are suitable for both residential and industrial applications. This particular model features a 4-screw, front-panel mounting design, with screws included for secure attachment of the switch and handle to the panel or wall. The cam switches come equipped with switching chambers that offer various contact arrangements, including 1, 2, or 3 double interrupted conduct paths (with Series 111 exclusively having 3 paths). Each conduct path consists of two firmly seated terminals and a mobile contact bridge guided by a plunger, which is positively opened by the cam and closed by a spring mechanism. The indexing device is customizable with different torques and four switching angles. Designed for safety, the finger-proof cam switches include screws with captive plus-minus heads, while all terminals feature screwdriver guiding, funnel-shaped cable entries, and a chamber-like design.
