Merz has long been recognized as the industry standard in UL certified switches, offering cam switches that are renowned for their quality and reliability. Available in models ranging from 16 amp to 125 amp, these UL certified switches are suitable for both residential and industrial applications. This specific item features a 4-screw front-panel mounting design, with the switch and handle secured using the included screws. Depending on their contact arrangement, cam switches are equipped with switching chambers that provide 1, 2, or 3 (Series 111 only) double interrupted conduct paths. Each conduct path includes 2 firmly seated terminals and one mobile contact bridge guided by a plunger, where the contact bridge is positively opened by the cam and closed by a spring. The indexing device is customizable with different torques and 4 distinct switching angles. The finger proof cam switches utilize screws with captive plus-minus screw heads, and all terminals feature screwdriver guiding, funnel-shaped cable entries, and a chamber-like design.
