This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is designed for dirty, dusty environments and high altitude applications up to 13,000 ft. It is constructed with an 18 gauge steel cabinet featuring a powder coated finish. The control compartment is equipped with a hinged and latched access door, facilitating easy wiring installation and maintenance. A circular copper clad steel heating element with continuously brazed steel fins is shaped to match the air delivery pattern of the fan blade. The fan assembly is enclosed by heavy gauge, closed space with chrome plated wire guards, and the louvers are individually adjustable for precise air flow direction control. The unit is protected from overheating by automatic reset limit controls. It includes a totally enclosed, single phase, permanently lubricated and thermally protected motor, which is mounted on rubber isolators to minimize vibration and noise, and features a unit bearing motor. Field-installed options encompass a wall-ceiling bracket, SPST thermostat kit, and disconnect kit.
