This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is designed for dirty, dusty environments and high-altitude applications up to 13,000 ft. It is constructed with an 18-gauge steel cabinet featuring a powder-coated finish. The control compartment is equipped with a hinged and latched access door for straightforward wiring installation and maintenance. The heating element consists of a circular copper clad steel design with continuously brazed steel fins that match the fan blade's air delivery pattern. The fan assembly is housed in a heavy gauge, closed space protected by chrome plated wire guards. The louvers are individually adjustable, allowing for precise direction control of airflow. Safety features include automatic reset limit controls for overheat protection. The unit is equipped with a totally enclosed, single-phase, permanently lubricated, and thermally protected motor, mounted on rubber isolators to reduce vibration and noise, along with a unit bearing motor. Field-installed options comprise a wall-ceiling bracket, SPST thermostat kit, and disconnect kit.
