This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is designed for use in dirty, dusty environments and is suitable for high-altitude applications up to 13,000 ft. It features an 18 gauge steel cabinet with a powder-coated finish for durability. The control compartment is equipped with a hinged and latched access door to facilitate easy wiring installation and maintenance. The heating element consists of a circular copper clad steel design with continuously brazed steel fins specifically formed to match the air delivery pattern of the fan blade. The fan assembly is contained within a heavy gauge, closed space and is protected by chrome plated wire guards. Louvers are individually adjustable, allowing for precise direction control of airflow. For safety, the unit includes automatic reset type limit controls for overheat protection. A totally enclosed, single phase, permanently lubricated, and thermally protected motor is mounted on rubber isolators to reduce vibration and noise, and it features a sleeve bearing motor. Field-installed options comprise a wall-ceiling bracket, SPST thermostat kit, and disconnect kit.
