This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is designed for use in dirty, dusty environments and can operate effectively at high altitudes of up to 13,000 ft. It is constructed from 18 gauge steel with a powder-coated finish, ensuring durability. The control compartment features a hinged and latched access door that facilitates easy wiring installation and maintenance. The heating element consists of a circular copper-clad steel design with continuously brazed steel fins shaped to align with the air delivery pattern of the fan blade, while the fan assembly is housed in a heavy gauge, closed space protected by chrome-plated wire guards. The louvers are individually adjustable for precise direction control of airflow, and the unit is equipped with automatic reset type limit controls for overheat protection. A totally enclosed, single phase permanently lubricated and thermally protected motor is mounted on rubber isolators to reduce vibration and noise, featuring a unit bearing motor. Field-installed options available include wall-ceiling brackets, an SPST thermostat kit, and a disconnect kit.
