This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is specifically designed for use in dirty, dusty environments and high altitude applications up to 13,000 ft. It features an 18 gauge steel cabinet with a powder coated finish, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. The control compartment is equipped with a hinged and latched access door, facilitating easy wiring installation and maintenance. The heater includes a circular copper clad steel heating element with continuously brazed steel fins, shaped to align with the air delivery pattern of the fan blade. The fan assembly is enclosed within a heavy gauge, closed space protected by chrome plated wire guards. The louvers are individually adjustable to control the direction of airflow, while automatic reset type limit controls provide overheat protection. The unit is powered by a totally enclosed, single phase permanently lubricated and thermally protected motor, which is mounted on rubber isolators to reduce vibration and noise. Additionally, it features a unit bearing motor, and field-installed options include a wall-ceiling bracket, SPST thermostat kit, and disconnect kit.
