This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is designed for dirty, dusty environments and high altitude applications up to 13,000 ft. It is constructed with an 18 gauge steel cabinet featuring a powder coated finish for durability. The control compartment includes a hinged and latched access door, facilitating easy wiring installation and maintenance. The heater is equipped with a circular copper clad steel heating element that has continuously brazed steel fins formed to match the air delivery pattern of the fan blade. The fan assembly is enclosed by a heavy gauge, closed space with chrome plated wire guards for protection. Individual louvers allow for adjustable direction control of air flow, while automatic reset type limit controls provide overheat protection. The unit features a totally enclosed, single phase, permanently lubricated, and thermally protected motor mounted on rubber isolators to minimize vibration and noise. A unit bearing motor is included, and field installed options consist of a wall-ceiling bracket, SPST thermostat kit, and disconnect kit. The heater is compliant with relevant safety and performance standards, making it a robust choice for various heating needs.
