This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is designed for dirty, dusty environments and high altitude applications up to 13,000 ft. It is constructed with an 18 gauge steel cabinet featuring a powder coated finish. The control compartment is equipped with a hinged and latched access door for convenient wiring installation and maintenance. The heating element consists of a circular copper clad steel component with continuously brazed steel fins, engineered to match the air delivery pattern of the fan blade. The fan assembly is securely enclosed within a heavy gauge, closed space and protected by chrome plated wire guards. Individual louvers allow for adjustable direction control of air flow. The unit includes automatic reset type limit controls for overheat protection, and a totally enclosed, single-phase, permanently lubricated, thermally protected motor mounted on rubber isolators to reduce vibration and noise. Additionally, it features a unit bearing motor, and field-installed options include a wall-ceiling bracket, SPST thermostat kit, and disconnect kit.
