This horizontal discharge suspended unit heater is designed for use in dirty, dusty environments and can operate effectively at high altitudes up to 13,000 ft. Constructed from 18 gauge steel with a powder-coated finish, it features a control compartment with a hinged and latched access door for straightforward wiring installation and maintenance. The heating element consists of a circular copper-clad steel design with continuously brazed steel fins that align with the air delivery pattern of the fan blade. The fan assembly is encased in a heavy gauge, closed space with chrome-plated wire guards, and individual louvers allow for adjustable direction control of air flow. The unit is equipped with automatic reset type limit controls for overheat protection and utilizes a totally enclosed, single-phase, permanently lubricated, thermally protected motor mounted on rubber isolators to reduce vibration and noise. It also includes a sleeve bearing motor, with field-installed options available for a wall-ceiling bracket, SPST thermostat kit, and disconnect kit.
