The Bearings Limited RCB101416 needle bearing is a drawn cup roller clutch and bearing assembly with a bore size of 15.875mm. Needle roller bearings, classified as either radial or thrust based on the load direction they support, include those whose rollers slightly exceed the ISO size range for needle rollers. This type incorporates drawn cup and solid radial bearings, as well as thrust needle bearings, available in caged and full complement designs. The drawn cup outer rings are made from carefully selected alloy steel sheet and are surface-hardened post-pressing to create a unique structural integrity. The cage of the needle bearing is designed to accurately guide the rollers at the pitch diameter, with a hardened surface that minimizes frictional torque while enhancing rigidity and wear resistance.
