The Scalloped Edge knife features a non-slip and comfortable design ideal for demanding kitchen environments, with a soft rubber grip that helps reduce stresses associated with fatigue and common wrist injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome. The blades are crafted from proprietary Dexsteel™ stain-free, high-carbon steel and are individually ground to create scallops that form multiple sharp cutting edges. The pointed scallops are designed to easily break through tough rinds and pierce the firm skin of fruits and vegetables while also protecting the sharp cutting edges. After penetrating the outer surface, the curved scalloped edges allow for slicing through soft interiors without causing damage. The knife is made in the USA and items marked with the NSF logo indicate NSF certification.
