The "Y-1" series mounts are designed to effectively address vibration issues, featuring a high static deflection of the springs that makes them preferable over most rubber mounts. Specifically engineered for noise and vibration control in critical areas situated on concrete or wooden floors, the Y-1 mount comprises a robust three-piece cast iron housing that encases the spring. Each mount is equipped with slotted mounting holes and a non-skid elastomeric acoustic pad on the base for secure bolting to the floor. To enhance performance, resilient elastomeric snubbers on the inner panel eliminate metal-to-metal contact, ensuring optimal spring functionality. Additionally, these mounts integrate a built-in leveling device, which can be either external or internal, and are available with options for flat top or non-skid neoprene top surfaces to facilitate internal level adjustments. All springs utilized in these mounts undergo a hot-dip galvanization process for added durability.
