Zinsser Mold Killing Primer is a water-based fungicidal protective coating designed for painting over existing mold, mildew, moss, fungi, odor-causing bacteria, and other fungal organisms. This primer features an EPA registered antimicrobial agent that effectively prevents the growth of mold, mildew, and other fungi on the paint film, as well as aids in covering residual microbiological and fungal stains. It is suitable for application on interior and exterior surfaces and can be directly applied over existing mold, killing it along with mildew and odor-causing bacteria. Additionally, it binds well to chalky siding, masonry, and metal surfaces. It is important to note that for stains caused by water leaks, the Mold Killing Primer should be allowed to dry before applying a Zinsser stain blocking primer.
