ServeWell stations feature an innovative design in mobile serving equipment, incorporating a one-piece thermoset well that insulates and concentrates heat into a water bath, while dome elements transfer energy directly into the water bath. The stations are equipped with standard 480W, 700W, or 800W heating elements and include a brass drain valve for each well. The hot food unit comes with a standard 8" wide cutting board and a 7-1/2" wide plate shelf, both made from 3/8" thick materials. Constructed from stainless steel, the units feature legs and an undershelf and are shipped knockdown for easier transport. They are equipped with automatic thermostatic controls and a standard 10' power cord. A low-water indicator light provides visual feedback to eliminate guesswork regarding water levels in the well, which is designed to withstand rust and pitting. The wells accommodate up to 4" (10.2 cm) deep full or fractional size pans and utilize standard adaptor plates and insets for serving flexibility. The optional caster set (38099) includes four 4" (10.2 cm) swivel wheels, two of which have brakes. The overall dimensions of the station are 32"L x 32"W x 34"H.
