The HS Series is a home and office safe designed for compact storage while accommodating items like handguns and paperwork. Constructed from heavy 12 gauge steel, this safe features a 5" thick composite steel door with six 1" diameter steel locking bolts, providing full door coverage. It boasts two layers of fireboard with a 60-minute fire rating, ensuring excellent fire resistance. The exterior dimensions are H: 30" x W: 20" x D: 20" (adding 1.5" to depth for the handle and hinges), while the interior dimensions measure H: 26.5" x W: 16.25" x D: 13", resulting in an external volume of 6.94 cubic feet and an internal volume of 3.24 cubic feet. Weighing 230 pounds, the safe also features a re-locker pin to guard against lock tampering and a drill-resistant hard plate to protect the lock against drilling attempts. The attack-resistant external hinges allow for a 200-degree door opening, in contrast to safes with internal hinges.
