The closed system is designed to prevent outside contamination while providing high accuracy. It includes borosilicate glass burettes with white 0.1 mL graduations, which are securely mounted to a high-density polyethylene screw cap. The flexible polyethylene bottle allows for easy liquid transfer into the burette by squeezing, and a built-in overflow feature automatically drains any excess liquid back into the reservoir. The glass stopcock has a 2 mm bore for precise flow control. The system is supported by a large, stable plastic base that is detachable from the reservoir. The accuracy of the burette is within 1% of the total volume, and the graduation accuracy is classified as Class A.
