Lab-Aire® II electric drying racks are designed to accelerate the drying of labware using warm, circulating air while maintaining a compact footprint for minimal benchtop space usage. The drying racks operate at 400 watts, gently circulating heated air to decrease drying time, complemented by a replaceable foam filter to ensure dust-free warmed air. Users can select from three temperature settings (high, medium, low) via the heat selector knob. The power button illuminates during operation, and safety features include an 8-amp @ 120V (4-amp @ 230V) circuit breaker and an independent thermo-fuse to prevent overheating. Constructed from rugged ABS plastic, these racks are resistant to corrosion and easy to clean. They include drip/storage trays with scalloped wells to support long thin labware. The racks come with small (3"), medium (4"), and large (5") pegs that can be repositioned to accommodate various labware, such as beakers, flasks, bottles, test tubes, and cylinders. Airflow can be redirected by using supplied plugs in unused peg holes. Additionally, removable polypropylene baskets allow for the storage of small labware and extra pegs. Users can choose between a single-sided model for wall placement or a double-sided model to double the capacity with minimal footprint increase. The units are CE marked and customizable with extra accessories and various sizes/configurations.
