The Knaack Model 2472 Jobmaster® Chest measures 24"W x 72"L and has a capacity of 24.5 cu ft, making it versatile and portable for holding various tools, from hand and power tools to shovels. It features a full-length piano hinge that is stacked and welded to resist break-in attempts, making it suitable for both personal use on a jobsite and added security inside a trailer. The chest utilizes accessory tray model 21 and is equipped with a Watchman® IV lock system, which includes a recessed lock housing for theft protection and additional reinforcement between the lock and side housing. The design includes heavy-duty, bigger hinges that offer stronger protection against pry-ins, a Power Pass® electrical pass-thru grommet for easy, weatherproof power cord access, and a powder-coat finish that enhances durability and corrosion resistance. It has four-way skids for access from any side, a closed height of 28-1/8 in, an open height of 49-1/4 in, and is caster-ready with 14-gauge steel skids to accommodate optional casters. The recessed handles provide positive gripping even with gloves on, and the chest is constructed from heavy-duty 16-gauge steel with fully arc-welded seams for increased strength and longevity.
