The Knaack Model 79-D Storagemaster® piano box measures 48"W x 49"H and has a capacity of 36.2 cu ft, making it suitable for various trades. It is caster-ready and includes full-width shelves for effective organization of tools and supplies. The box features a bi-fold cover that folds completely out of the way for unrestricted access and is designed to fit perfectly in the width of a full-size truck bed. The Junk Trunk™ quick access independent locking drawers provide easy access to high-demand tools, and the raised chest floor enables users to reach tools at the bottom without over-reaching. The Watchman® IV lock system with recessed lock housing offers protection against theft, while optional wheel casters, 4-way skid access, and recessed side handles facilitate mobility. The piano box lids are supported by dual gas struts for easy opening, and heavy-duty hinges enhance durability and resistance to pry-ins. The powder-coat finish ensures superior durability and corrosion resistance, and four-way skids allow access from any side for easier transportation. Additional features include recessed handles, gas spring guards to prevent damage from shifting loads, and an improved ball stud bracket for added strength and durability. When closed, the chest can also serve as a work table. The closed height is 49" and the open height is 78".
