The Knaack Model 4830-D Jobmaster® Chest Junk Trunk™ features an independent locking drawer, measuring 30"W x 35"L and offering a capacity of 17 cu ft, making it versatile and portable for storing various tools, including hand and power tools as well as compressors. It includes a full-length piano hinge that is stacked and welded for enhanced security against break-in attempts. The raised chest floor enables easy access to tools located at the bottom, while the Junk Trunk™ quick access drawer locks independently for convenient retrieval of frequently used tools and accessories. The kit utilizes accessory tray Model 31 and incorporates the Watchman® IV lock system along with a 3-point latch that features recessed lock housing for additional theft protection. It is further reinforced between the lock and side housing, and includes a Power Pass® electrical pass-thru grommet for weatherproof power cord access. The standard four-way skids are adaptable for 6 in wheel casters, allowing access from any side for easier transport. Finished with a powder-coat for durability and corrosion resistance, it also features a gas strut-supported chest lid that controls closing speed and a locking hinge to keep the lid open. The closed height is 34-1/4" and the open height is 61-1/4", providing organization for small and medium-sized tools and kits while allowing quick access to everyday items. The three-sided easy grip lid ensures ergonomic access, and the unit is built Knaack tough with 16 gauge steel and an anti-theft design for security against theft and weather.
