Fantech FKD direct drive, mixed flow centrifugal fans combine the high flow capabilities of axial fans with the non-overloading pressure characteristics of backward curved impellers, making them suitable for exhaust or supply applications where quieter operation and straightforward installation are essential. Designed for use in commercial and institutional environments such as offices, hospitals, beauty salons, and veterinary clinics, as well as residential settings like kitchen range hood exhaust, FKD fans feature a straight-through inline design and are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate duct sizes ranging from 8" to 20". These fans can be mounted at any angle along the ductwork, with motors capable of operating in airstream temperatures up to 140° F. The motor bearings are permanently sealed, self-lubricating ball type. Key features include a mixed flow impeller, 100% speed controllability, position flexibility for installation, an external rotor motor, and a galvanized steel housing. The FKD fans come with a three-year warranty and are certified by AMCA Air, AMCA Sound, and CULUS.
